Terms of Service

AskDada is an AI interview preparation and permitted live-assistance service operated by Compilesquad Technologies Private Limited ("Compilesquad", "we", "us"). Our business location is Bangalore, India. Contact Arjit Srivastava at askdada@compilesquad.com for service, privacy, or grievance matters. These terms cover AskDada at askdada.in and use of its connected service. Separate written business agreements, where signed, control any conflicting provisions.

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering a contract. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it. Read these terms, our Privacy Notice, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy before registering or buying access. By choosing to register, purchase, or use the service after being presented with these terms, you agree to them to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Browsing a policy page alone does not authorize audio capture, marketing, or a payment.

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share, resell, or transfer your account or credits without our written permission. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account, but this does not exclude our responsibility for failures for which we are legally liable. Subject to these terms, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use AskDada for lawful preparation and permitted assistance.

Use AskDada during a real interview or assessment only when the organizer's rules allow AI assistance and the people whose audio or personal information will be processed have received the required notice and given any consent required by law. Browser permission and your checkbox do not establish another person's consent. Do not secretly transcribe, impersonate a candidate, bypass proctoring, conceal prohibited assistance, or misrepresent AI-generated material as your own unaided performance where that matters. If permission is uncertain, use AskDada for private practice with your own voice and materials.

AskDada produces AI-generated suggestions and transcripts. They can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, or unsuitable, including invented facts and incorrect technical advice. Review and verify output before relying on it, running code, or sharing it. Never claim experience, qualifications, or results you do not have. We do not guarantee employment, interview success, a particular answer, accuracy, response speed, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every meeting tool. Plans are prepaid minute packs or unlimited access for a stated calendar period, with no automatic renewal. Unlimited plans start after payment verification and expire one or three calendar months later, as shown in the account. An early renewal extends the existing expiry; a renewal after expiry starts a new period. Pausing does not extend calendar access. Existing minute balances are preserved during unlimited access. One active interview per account and the existing account-use and service-availability terms apply. Five trial minutes are available after eligible sign-up without a card. Paid minutes are added after payment verification. For minute packs, active text or audio assistance consumes time; pause or end a session to stop future usage. Silence while a session remains active may still consume time. Keep the final plan, INR price, discount, and tax information shown before payment for your records. If an amount or tax detail is unclear, contact us before paying. New prices apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively change a completed purchase. Credits have no cash-transfer value; refunds and statutory remedies are governed by our Refund Policy.

You keep your rights in the résumé, job description, questions, and other content you submit. You give us a limited right to process, transmit to service providers, store, and display that content as needed to provide, protect, support, and maintain the service, subject to the Privacy Notice. This is not permission to publish your résumé or use it in advertising. Submit only content you have authority to share, and remove unnecessary personal data and confidential information. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use the output generated for you. Output may not be unique or eligible for copyright, and we do not guarantee it is free of third-party rights. The AskDada software, branding, and website remain ours or our licensors'. Open-source licenses continue to apply to their respective components.

Features and providers may change, and maintenance, outages, usage limits, or third-party failures can interrupt assistance. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, non-payment, or a material breach. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact support, unless doing so would create a security risk or violate law. We will not treat this clause as permission to withhold remedies for a service we fail to provide. If we permanently discontinue paid access, contact us regarding unused paid time and any refund due under law.

To the extent the law permits, the service is provided on an 'as available' and 'as is' basis without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or decisions made by employers or assessment providers. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of INR 5,000 or the fees you paid us for AskDada in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These exclusions and the cap do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability, consumer remedy, or data-protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing transfers our own legal responsibilities to you.

Please first contact askdada@compilesquad.com so we can try to resolve a concern. Indian law governs these terms, subject to mandatory laws that protect you where you live. Courts in Bengaluru, India have jurisdiction to the extent legally permitted. This does not remove a right to approach a competent consumer forum, regulator, or court available under mandatory law, and there is no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver in these terms.

We will publish updated terms with a revised date and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights arising from past purchases or disputes. Where fresh agreement is legally required, publication alone is not a substitute. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
